About

My experience with brain change began with my mother. Her journey began with MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment) and progressed to a diagnosis of mixed dementia: vascular dementia, and Alzheimer’s. The journey continues to have its challenges! We have times of fun and times of frustration.

I am an advocate for those living with dementia (a changing brain). This includes care partners exploring new ways to provide quality care to loved ones. I will continue to build on my knowledge and awareness with Positive Approach to Care®(PAC™ ). I have completed certifications with Positive Approach to Care®(PAC™ ), at times working directly with Teepa Snow, Founder of PAC™. https://www.teepasnow.com

My goal is to share my knowledge with others about dementia knowledge, awareness, and offering person-centered skills for care providers.
